We hope to you bring the whole family down to Hood Park on Saturday, September 15 at 11 a.m. for the Hood Park NeighborHOOD Fest.

Food trucks including Melt Grilled Cheese Truck and Whoopie Wagon will bring their delicious food to the neighborHOOD, or you’re welcome to grab lunch from Hood Park's own Cosí. Adults can enjoy craft beer from The Beer Mobile and kids can enjoy face painting, balloon twisting, lawn games and ice cream from Operation Hoodsie thanks to the Boston Police Department. On-site parking will be available.

Please join us on Wednesday, September 12 at 6 p.m. at the Community Center at Mishawum Park for a community meeting about proposed updates at Hood Park. We are looking to share our vision for transforming Hood Park into a new neighborhood that will be more connected to Charlestown than ever before, featuring outdoor gathering space, restaurants, retail and more. As we continue through this process, we are seeking your input to help make Hood Park a resource for all in Charlestown.

Boston Planning & Development Agency (BPDA) staff will present an overview of how Boston's zoning code works, focusing on its role in guiding development in the city at large, and within the neighborhood of Charlestown. A question and answer session will follow.

Design Charrette Meeting

Cambridge College “The Commons” Room

Please join us on Saturday, June 23 at 10 a.m. for an interactive design session about proposed open space at Hood Park. Hood Park is transforming into a new neighborhood that will be more connected to Charlestown than ever before, featuring outdoor gathering space, restaurants, retail and more. We want to hear your ideas as we design the green space, new pedestrian walkways, and bike lanes so that Hood Park can truly be a resource for all in Charlestown.

On-site childcare and entertainment with refreshments for all will be provided so bring the family! We look forward to seeing you and continuing the discussion about our evolving neighborHOOD.
